It's been a little quiet here, hasn't it? I have been wrapping up a few end of year projects. I figured I better start posting a few goodies for you before I am in full on St. Patrick's Day mode.
Kelly recently sent me a fun, can't wait for Spring, need to pull my stamps out type of card. I loved the bright colors and Stephanie's bird stamps always make a great card.
stamps used: Birdhouse, Birdcage, Home Sweet Home, Swiss Dot Background & Chick Sentiments
Then Kelly sent me another photo of this card with a new addition. I think it is something that many of us do. We create something, keep looking at it and either feel it needs something else or a light bulb goes off for a great idea.
So, what do you think? I do love the way the polka dot ribbon plays off of the polka dots Kelly created on the birdhouse. However, I might be slightly more partial to the original card. It is a tough call. What do you think?
Although the red bow adds a nice repetition of colour, I think it's out of place on a fence. How about a little cluster of red flowers there instead? Or leave the card the way it was originally. Very cute!

Love the gorgeous shading on the house and sun. Definitely a tough call on the bow... it works with it and without it!

The bow is cute, mostly because it matches the heart so perfectly ... but it would make the card a lot harder to mail. I think the "little cluster of red flowers" idea is a good one! If I hadn't seen the bow, I wouldn't have missed it. The original card is way cute too, and I think your eye goes to the sentiment more.
