I mentioned the other day that I hadn't shared any of Kelly or Eunyoung's Project Life pages in AWHILE. Well I owe Kelly a big apology! I just realized that I haven't shared any of her pages since the beginnig of the year. Kelly I am soooo sorry! I had put the pages & cards up in her gallery here. I normally do that after I show them in a blog post. I went back to double check where I left off to find out that I never shared them. I really feel horrible. I'll probably split this up into more than one post since I am so behind. Enjoy!
Kelly created a bunch of journal cards ahead of time to use throughout the upcoming weeks. Here are the cards that you will see throughout her upcoming pages. Sometimes it is easier to just go with a pre-stamped card then trying to figure out what stamps to use while working on a particular week.
This is Kelly's opening page for 2014. The photos of her and her husband are a cute way to start off the album.
Kelly used a couple of star stamps on the card below. I honestly do not know which sets the stars are from. I think they are probably from Treasue Map, This is December & Foodie. However, there are also stars in a bunch of other sets like Flea Market & Wanted. There are plenty of others too. If you do a search on the website for "star: it will pull the others up.
Week 1 - The next pre-made card that Kelly used is below. She created a card for her journaling which she stitched a border around and stamped the "You are Here" and star from the Treasure Map set in the bottom corner.
Week 2 - The kraft colored card uses the "More Please" stamp which is a freebie stamp that accompanies the Foodie set. This stamp was inspired by Oliver Twist. :)
Week 3 & 4 use several different stamps throughout the spread. You can see the Plain Jane Labels used on a couple of the cards. The Journaling Beaded Deco Circle is used for the journaling on the black and white card below.
Once again, the Plain Jane labels are used to show the date and the "captured on" from the Photographer set is on the bottom of the kraft card.
Week 5 - Uses two of the cards that Kelly created at the beginning of the year. The double diagonal border was created using the stamps from the This Is December set. The other card is stamped with the Scallop Circle.
Week 6 - Only uses the Deco Date stamp but Kelly did include several different wood veneer shapes which I love on PL pages.
Kelly was back at it again creating a bunch of cards to use on upcoming weeks. This time she played around with watercolors and the Doodle Heart stamp set.
I think my favorite is on the bottom right with all the larger solid hearts repeatedly stamped on a diagonal. It will be fun to see these cards pop up throughout the year as well.
Week 7 & 8 start to use the heart cards...
I still have more from Kelly which I will include in the next blog post. You can visit Kelly's blog to read more details on her pages.
