No Holiday Stamping From Me

Do you know that I didn't get to stamp a single thing before the holidays?  I started one card and never finished it off.  Its so depressing.  I also didn't get to share all the projects from the Design Team.  Here are a few more:

Another Snowman

This time it is finally something done by me!  No stamping.  He's felted.  This was my handmade gift for my Secret Sister this year.  I knew she collected snowman ornaments so I thought I would try making one.  This is only the third thing I have felted.  I wish I had done a little more with the scarf.  The wool was varigated but some polka dots or stripes would of been cute.  I was afraid to go too crazy since I haven't made too many things before.  Of course I was also down to the wire to get him done and shipped out.  It is alot of fun making these little creations.

 

My felting supplies were a great gift from a stamping friend.  She had made me or maybe it was really for Tatum (shhhhh) a little felted bunny.  It was adorable.  I asked how she did it and then she surprised me with bag of goodies. 

I am actually in need of some more wool roving so if your into felting and have a good source let me know.

Today's To Do List

2.  Pull & Ship Weekend Orders

3.  Bake for Tatum's Class Party

4.  Try, try, try To Stamp A Few Cards (maybe one's for the Teacher's Gifts)

That will probably be about it.  I am about to go into panic mode with all that is still left to do.  Ugggh!

This reminds me of a cookie recipe swap I did several years ago with a bunch of girls from twopeas.  We each did a tag with a cookie recipe on it.  I love fun recipe cards like this.  What a great way to use that new Nestabilities die too.

Snowman Love

I got in some fabulous samples from the design team this week.  There was a lot of love for the Snowman with Hangings (who I kept meaning to rename) by Stephanie Tafoya-Ackerman.  These are my favorite samples to date.  They make me smile everytime I look at them.  Thanks girls!  Just take a look at these!

Now seriously?  Look at the way she has him shaded.  Everything about him just pops.  Adorable!

 

Once again I love how Jenn used the Artic Whirlwind stamp along with the Damask stamp for the snow. 

   

This is a page from Jenn's December Daily album.  Once again the Artic Whirlwind is in the background.  I like the mix of the Date Me days of the week ring with the Downcome Alphabet too.

 

Here is a closeup.  I wanted to make sure you could see all the glittery fun on his scarf.  Doesn't he just pop off the page?!

Another goodie, right?  The watercoloring gives him a totally different feel.  I love the color's Meg used.  I am not sure if you can tell but the Doodle Snowflake is in the background on the brown.  I also always love her distressing. Oh, the Have yourself a merry little Christmas is a longer stamp she cut up which is quite fun.

 

I love (a favorite word when describing stampy stuff) kraft paper and how colors can just pop on it.  Look at how vibrant the white is.  So cute.  One again I spy the Doodle Snowflake in the background.

How cute to put him in a snowglobe?  I just unpacked one of Tatum's last night when we went to decorate the tree.  Jennifer used the Snowflake stamp and the sentiment from the Merriness Set.
