There has been alot going on around here these days. Tatum graduates from 5th grade tomorrow. I can't believe she will be going to Junior High School in the fall! The past few months of school have been very busy for them. There has been trips, field day, chorus & band performances, school musical, parade marching, 5th grade picnic and all kinds of parties in school. I was chosen as a class parent this year. I have been putting my name in since she was 3 and in pre-school. I was finally chosen this year and did I pay for it. There was so much going on this year for them.
Yesterday we had their end of year party. I actually stayed up late and made a few cards for the teachers. I never get to make anything so it was fun coming up with these cute cards. Simple design but using my favorite type of cardstock...Kraft. I am always drawn to cards and layouts done on kraft paper/cardstock. I also love corrugated cardboard which is similar but with added texture. I colored the apple and worm with Copic markers and highlighted with a white Signo pen. I love how the Copic colors pop against the cardstock.
