Two?!

Yes, can you believe it?  I am back to post some more projects.  Two posts in one day.  Oh my! 

Here is a card by Laura O'Donnell using the new Road Trippin' set:

  

So many of my favorites on this card...kraft cardstock, white gel pen, 3D stamped image and popping colors.  Way to go Laura!

Next up is a gift card holder by Sunghee.  It is so much fun seeing the stamps used in a project that make you chuckle.  This is one of those projects.

Here is a photo of design team member Jenn Biederman holding the newest issue of CARDS which features her fabulous card on the cover!  Jenn's card won a cover contest that CARDS held a couple of months ago.  Huge congrats Jenn, you deserve it!!

I think it was so cute to use the Date Me stamp along the rind of the watermelon (which by the way she designed herself).  This would look just as cute with the new Date Me Seasons stamp.

Giveaway Winners!

I am sorry for the delay in today's giveaway.  I will have it up shortly.  I have been busy working on my daughter's lemonade stand for her sale tomorrow.  She had one last year and has been dying to do another.  If you weren't around last year to hear about it then take a look here.

Silly Me...

I had a little scrambling around to do on the samples below.  Silly me basically gave you the answers.  The lightbulb went off pretty quickly on that one...lol.  This is what happens when your rushing to get something done.

Butterflies Are Free (Stamp Giveaway #2)

Well today they are!  The stamp giveaway for today is an old favorite turned into a new set.  The butterfly stamp from the Brocante set has been a long time favorite.  After many requests to sell it individually I am now offering it in a set with several sizes.  Now you have a choice of sizes or stamp them into a beautiful grouping in flight. 

The design team has been making quite a few samples with the original butterfly image over the past couple of months.  Now this is where the givewaway comes in.  Can you correctly identify which designer created each project?  They were all done by current design team members (found listed over to the right).  Post your answers in the comments section of today's post.  I will randomly select a winner from those that correctly guess the designers.  Please list the project number along with the designer.  You have until Saturday July 18th at 8:00 pm est. to post your guesses.  Have fun!

"What's The Scoop?" Giveaway

What's The Scoop?

  

So what do you think?  This is one of the new stamp sets that will be up on the website shortly.  The new stamps just came in and I hope to have some samples from the design team in a few days.  The popsicle and sugar cone are larger versions of the ones in the Celebitties Set.  The wafer cone is another doodle from Stehphanie that rounds out the set.

I created this card for the current sketch at 2Sketches4You (read on for more details).  I decided to add a little dimension to the images by stamping them first on the white cardstock, coloring and then coloring a second set which were cut out and then placed on top with pop dots.  The images are super easy to cut.  A good tip for those who stress about cutting out images...keep a black (or coordinating colored marker) marker on hand.  If you don't cut quite close enough to the line and have a little white showing then go in and touch up with the marker.  If you get too close and lose some of your stamped line you can use the marker to add a little back on too.
