Isn't this gift box by Roree wonderful?  I love the paper flowers on top!  The Winter Noteblock works great stamped all around the box.

Are you in the mood?

The mood for love, that is.  It is almost the end of January and Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  I have two things to show you that will definitely get you in the mood.  How about a few new stamps?

 

Aren't they cute?  The next stamp is an addition to the Treat Logos that were released before Christmas.   This one is perfect for any time and any reason.  Use it for candy on Valentine's Day, jelly beans at Easter or cupcakes to celebrate a birthday. 

 

There is now a new little Sweet Treat word set to be used with the logos.  It is an add-on to the original Treat Word Set.

If you need a little eye candy for these guys then take a look at this wonderful candy package that Jenn put together using one of the original logos.

Is this not one of the most gorgeous projects you have seen recently?  Jenn used a clear 4x4 card box for this.  You can use any size you like.  It is really a simple packaging project.  The bling and glitter add the perfect touch.  It makes this box of kisses something special.  You can create a band for any type of box.  I happen to love that you can see the candy through the clear.  This is a great way to package any type of bulk candy.  A white box would have a very clean and classic look.  Or how about kraft?     

A-dorable!

I thought this layout from Jennifer was adorable!  Look at how cute her little girl is.  I love the pinks and reds against the black and white photo.  The whole thing is clean, simple and just perfect!

Non Traditional & Masculine

Here is a great combo for a real guys Valentine card.  Courtney didn't go with the traditional red & pinks.  She opted for a striking black.  The card also doesn't use hearts and flourishes.  Some simple stars and i love you says it all.

Valentine's

Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  The cards and projects are starting to trickle in.  Linda did a super simple card with the Love Noteblock.  That is what is so great about these stamps.  The large size makes for a quick and easy card.  I am not one for all the decorative border punches.  However, the Fiskars Heart Border punch that Linda used on this card works great.  It just adds to the vintage look of the Noteblock stamp.

I'll have some more Valentine's projects to show over the next few days.  I have a couple of new stamps that will be in next week too.  Just a couple.  Once I have a better idea what day they will be here I will get some pics posted for you.

Thankful

Here are the last two calendar projects for a little while.  Sharon created a mini "Thankful" book and box to recap 2009.  She incorporated a bunch of stamps for this project.  I love the string wrapped around the top of the box.

20*ten

Do you find yourself saying two thousand ten or twenty ten?  I find myself saying both but why didn't I ever say twenty nine?  I like twenty ten.  It is fun!

Ronda created this wonderful 20*ten layout using the Vintage 2010 Calendar stamp.  A strip of photos from a photo booth or a contact sheet are a favorite of mine.  So is the pennant banner she created along the bottom of the layout. A little texture and dimension from the borders, flowers and ribbon finishes it all off.

2010 Goals

This next layout is from Jenn.  She thought it might be nice for her girls to have a few layouts of herself.  I am sure she is right.  I know so many of us tend to scrap just the kids and other family members.  The journaling you include on those layouts will let everyone know your thoughts and feelings.  Wouldn't it also be nice to include a few photos and layouts about yourself too? (This said by the person who is always behind the camera and HATES to have her photo taken).

 

I really thought this layout has such impact.  The large photo of Jenn with just a hint of color.  It reminds me of my high school photography days when we would hand tint black and white photos.  The Vintage 2010 Calendar repeated all over as a background is perfect on this too. 

 

The Date Me ring stamps designed by Liz Tamanaha of Paislee Press always add the perfect touch.

New Goals

I thought I would finish up the next few posts with the rest of the New Years resolutions, plans & goals.  First up is Heidi.
