I have some wonderful Thanksgiving cards to share. I apologize for not getting them up before Thanksgiving. I was fighting a cold all week and trying to prep for Thanksgiving dinner. My cold kicked in Wednesday night. I made it through dinner and company. I woke up yesterday morning with laryngitis which I still have today. I spent the entire day in bed yesterday trying to shake this. I had another distraction during the week that I will share with you in a few days. So in the meantime, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I love the little place cards that Alice created for a Thanksgiving table. You can easily take this idea and adapt it for Christmas or any other holiday. Once again, the coloring is fabulous! Look at the colors on those pumpkins.

This is a cute little recipe card that Donna whipped up. The recipe reminds me of the candied yams I grew up eating minus the marshmallows. I didn't experience that treat till I was an adult. I am actually on my 2nd new recipe since making the ones I grew up with. This has become a favorite for the past 2 years: Whipped Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar-Pecan Topping.

I crack up every time I see Tom Turkey used on a card. He just has such a goofy look about him.

Sharon created a truly beautiful Thanksgiving ensemble to be shared with her guests. First, there is a card which can be used as your dinner invite. Then a matching place card along with a menu. I can easily see adapting this for Christmas by changing the color scheme. A few red berries will transform the leaves into holly.

New Fall & Winter Stamps!

Whew...finally! I wasn't sure I was ever going to get these stamps done. It has been one issue after another around here. I have actually been sitting on some of these new stamps since the beginning of the summer. I am always rushing to get new stamps out and I wanted to take my time for once. Then I started to run late with the holiday stamps and the whole thing became rushed anyway...lol.

Well, you probably are more interested in what the new stamps are. I have two collections from Michelle Clement and several more from Stephanie Ackerman. Yippee!! The sets from Michelle are Mixed Drinks & The Wine Shop. They are both very appropriate for this time of year. The Wine Shop is here in time for the fall harvest season. Once again we are using handwritten sentiments from Jennifer Holmes. These two sets are perfect for holiday entertaining & gift giving. Stephanie has two new collections in this release as well. The first grew from two little Christmas elves by the name of Holly & Barry that she doodled. There is now a collection of autumn and winter kids available. The autumn kids arrived today and the winter kids will be here in about a week. There is a limited special offer on the entire collection of autumn kids and a coordinating sentiment set. You can get the details at the bottom of this webpage.

The final collection from Stephanie is the one I am most excited about. Squealing with excitement here! It is something I have wanted to offer for years. I asked Stephanie several months back if she would give it a try for me. I have been sitting on the artwork and had to at least get this one out to you in time for the holidays...

The Trim-a-Tree Store & Christmas Tree Lot is the first in over ten different buildings and store fronts that are in the collection. I can't even begin to tell you how adorable this town is going to be! Each building will come with a few coordinating sentiments that will make the stamps even more irresistible. Here is a peek at one of the upcoming sets:

Thoughts of Thanksgiving

The thing I love about all the Noteblock stamps is that they get you excited for the occassion. The thoughts start running through my head by all the words contained in the stamps. The Thanksgiving Noteblock is no exception.

This first card from Jennifer H. has a fun whimsy twist with Tom Turkey. I chuckle every time I see him.

How about creating a little home decor item with one of the Noteblocks? Jennifer R. did just that by creating a "cover" for a jarred candle. Jennifer inked up the Autumn Noteblock with some Distress Stains to achieve the watercolored look. The fabric that wraps around the candle was stamped with some pumpkins. Jennifer plans on creating a few more "covers" and swapping them out for the different holidays and seasons.
