Happy Spring Sale!

I wish it was a bit warmer here but the calendar says we are getting closer to that wonderful weather.  I just decided to celebrate with a totally impromptu Spring Sale.  Happy Spring everyone!

Welcome Simone!

I have a fabulous new card maker joining the design team at Purple Onion Designs.  I hope you enjoy these cards from Simone Schwagler.  Make sure you check out her blog too!

Simone used Poppy as the main stamp on these cards.  There is something special about each one.  The standouts for me in this card is how she personalized it along with the diecut grass and little flowers throughout.  I like the pinks of the coloring and papers with that pop of green that she choose.

Once again, Simone personalized the card with a name.  This always makes a card a little more special for the recipient.  Those little rose flowers have always been a favorite since they came onto the scene a few years ago.  It gives this card a shabby feel to it.

Today's final card has this adorable little envelope and note.  Simone's coloring is wonderful as well as the sky she created.  I also thought the tiny butterflies and birdhouse were a cute touch.

Oh Hi!

It's been a little quiet here, hasn't it?  I have been wrapping up a few end of year projects.  I figured I better start posting a few goodies for you before I am in full on St. Patrick's Day mode. 

Kelly recently sent me a fun, can't wait for Spring, need to pull my stamps out type of card.  I loved the bright colors and Stephanie's bird stamps always make a great card.

Then Kelly sent me another photo of this card with a new addition.  I think it is something that many of us do.  We create something, keep looking at it and either feel it needs something else or a light bulb goes off for a great idea. 

So, what do you think?  I do love the way the polka dot ribbon plays off of the polka dots Kelly created on the birdhouse.  However, I might be slightly more partial to the original card.  It is a tough call.  What do you think?
