Purple Onion Designs: Holiday Treats

Today I have a some fun holiday treat ideas. These can be used for home baked goods, candies and even store bought items you re-package and add a little pizzazz too.

Lorraine does a lot of baking and has come up with some cute ideas to display and package her goodies. I love the way these cupcake flags came out. The Merry Thoughts stamp set was perfect for this. The stamp set is actually at a good discount right now.

The holiday season is full of good cheer. So how about jazzing up a wine bottle that so many of us give as gifts. Lesley did just that with a cute elf stamp. There is also the Wine Shop set which is perfect for wine tags.

Any candy makers out there? I usually bake cookies but I think this year I might try some spiced/candied pecans and caramels. They are some of my daughter's favorites and I have been wanting to make them. Emily did some cute packaging for her homemade caramel corn. The plastic box she used for her clusters was repurposed. Think about how you can use an empty container instead of tossing or recycling it.
