Welcome to Day 2 of "The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge" Blog Hop. Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker wants to share her love of coloring with you. Today Kathy has assembled a blog hop to give your creativity a jump start with some of her favorite stamp companies & Online Card Class partners.
The premise of "The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge" is to color something everyday even if it's for five minutes. (However feel free to jump in or out as time permits). Here is the card I created for today's hop. I thought it would be fun to color up a card to congratulate Kathy on hosting her 7th "30 Day Coloring Challenge". Do you realize that is 210 days of coloring! Go Kathy!!

I feel like I should also congratulate myself on making this card. It is sad to say but I only make one or two cards a year these days. I can hear you all gasping now. I know, I know. This is a challenge I desperately need in my life. It was fun making this card and I pulled out quite a few coloring mediums that I haven't used in awhile. I really mixed things up with chalks, Prismacolors and Twinkling H2O's. My apologies for the photography on this card because it doesn't capture some of the details which is a shame. I finished it up pretty late and didn't have the proper lighting set up. All the stamps are Purple Onion Designs and were colored with Prismacolors. The grass and sky were colored with chalks. The sky has more of a cloud appearance and isn't as washed out as it looks here. I used Twinkling H2O's on watercolor paper and then cut out the Scripty Congrats from Fawn Lawn. You can't tell but it has a nice shimmer to it.
*Update - Here is another photo of the card I was able to quickly take with some unexpected sunlight today. It still doesn't capture everything but it might give you a little bit better of an idea.
