Purple Onion Designs: Pine Cone Trail - New Winter Holiday Stamp Release

Stacey Yacula's winter holiday stamp collection for 2019 is now available!

This year's collection Pine Cone Trail illustrated by Stacey Yacula captures those perfect winter days being outdoors. The collection takes you to a little cabin in the woods where days are spent frolicking in the snow. Stacey's signature critters are enjoying themselves and will make the sweetest cards for the upcoming winter & holiday season.

Pine Cone Trail consists of 19 stamps/stamp sets (25 individual stamps). The collection can be purchased individually or as a complete bundled set for a limited time. The entire collection can be purchased HERE for $85.00, which is a savings of 30%. This offer is only available until Friday, November 8, 2019. After this time the stamps will only be available to purchase individually.

Shipping prices for the complete collection are $7.35 domestic (USA), $17.00 to Canada & $23.50 for all other international countries. Please note that orders may take up to a week to ship during this time.

Now lets do a little introduction to this amazing new collection! As always, these stamps will coordinate with all the prior collections. This is a great way to bring life back to some of your older loved stamps. I am sure you will recognize some of them along the way.

I'm going to start with the great new backgrounds from Pine Cone Trail. They are the perfect setting for all the adorable new (&old) critters. First up is the Winter Trail background which is the inspiration for the collection's name. The background has a mix of trees and a great wide trail for the critters to ski, snow shoe, sled, walk and hangout on.

Escaping to the warmth & coziness of a cabin in the woods is a quintessential winter day. This Cabin Background illustrated by Stacey can be used for either an outside porch scene or an inside living room scene.

The final background scenery stamp is the Frozen Pond. This is a bit different than the full sized Lake/Pond Background stamp from the A Charming Winter collection. The Frozen Pond is designed like many of our other "horizon" style stamps, where they can be placed at any height on a card to create a custom space.

There are two sets of stamps to decorate the cabin, use with the critters and will be perfect to use with the Front Door stamp from 'Twas the Night Before Christmas collection. That collection also included the Autumn/Winter Door Decor stamps, that you will see mixed in with the new Cabin Decor stamp set. The Cabin Decor set includes garland, Adirondack basket with greenery, 2 lanterns and a stacked pile of logs. You can see them all being used in the card below.

The other accessory stamp set is the Winter Sports stamp set. This set consists of a sled, figure skates, snow shoes and bells. The stamps are great adornments for the Cabin porch or to use along side of the different critters partaking in a sport. The front of this next card uses both sets together.

In addition to the two sets, there is a Stone Fireplace which is great to use with the cabin or out in the woods.

Now it's time to introduce all the new adorable critters!! A few have made an appearance in the cards above along with some old favorites. The nice thing is that everyone in this collection has a friend. :)

Arthur (polar bear fishing) & Wren (bird with net) are two buddies out for a day of ice fishing, take notice of their adorable little Ice Hut! Arthur is one of my favorite illustrations from Stacey in this collection. His expression is too cute and that hat!

Aspen is another favorite. I never thought I was an owl person but many of Stacey's owl illustrations are my favorite. Look at how cute this little guy is! Don't you just want to squeeze him?! He's on a tiny pair of snow shoes ready for a trek in the snow.

Jasper is a happy little fox in mid stride out snow shoeing. My guess is that he is on his way to pick up Aspen. :)

Bianca & Neve are this year's snowman and friend stamp. Every year a snowman stamp is included in Stacey's collections. :) I know many of you collect snowman stamps, so I make sure one is included. Bianca is a great addition with her little birdie friend Neve.

Next up are our skiers! Ember (bunny) and Blaze (skunk) are out cross country skiing along the Winter Trail. The Winter Trail and Snow Day Hill are also the perfect background for some downhill skiing! There is also a little appearance from the adorable Maggie (mouse) who must of left Mistletoe Farm for the day.

I know I am saying it AGAIN, but Douglas is on my favorite list too. Look at how excited and happy he is! Douglas is the perfect cheerleader for any of his forest friends.

Erica (hedgehog) is Douglas's counterpart. She is a little more subdued but is a great spectator and friend! She's cute too. You can see what I mean...

Any hockey fans out there? Hockey moms? This duo will add a personal touch to your cards. Iclyn & Storm can be found on the ice having a little one on one. The nice thing is there is usually enough room for some of the other critters to come out and play.

These two besties are taking a well deserved break and chatting over a cup of hot cocoa. Rory & Noelle can often be found on the side lines watching everyone or warming up by a toasty fire.

The Warming Winter Thoughts Sentiment Set is also new for this holiday season (which is not part of the bundled set). It is a nice mix of general cold weather & holiday sentiments.

I hope you made it all the way here to the bottom because there is one last new stamp to share! Rosemary is a sweet Thanksgiving turkey from Stacey Yacula. This stamp is a "one off" and not part of the Pine Cone Trail collection. She was supposed to be released a little sooner but is here now. :)
