The anniversary sale is still on!
This post is long overdue and today is the perfect day to share this with all of you! I am sure most of you are familiar with Sandy Allnock. Sandy is a ridiculously talented artist that is a vital part of the stamping community. If you don't follow her or are not familiar with her work, please take a moment to pop over to her website & Instagram account. She is a great person to learn and get inspiration from. Her artwork will wow you and she isn't loyal to only one coloring medium. If you like to use or want to learn how to use Copics, colored pencils, or watercolors she is your person!
Today on Sandy's blog she is sharing a compilation of videos she has created over the years using stamps from Purple Onion Designs. You will surely find some wonderful inspiration, tips & techniques as you watch them. It's great timing with the anniversary sale underway! Here is a little snippet of some of the cards.
In addition, to sharing her artwork through her blog, Instagram and Facebook accounts, Sandy offers classes in all these mediums. Many of the classes focus on cardmaking but you will also find classes that aren't specific to cardmaking. So, if you want to improve your coloring skills, learn how to color with a new medium, or hone your art skills then I highly recommend Sandy's classes.
She does offer two classes that feature stamps from Purple Onion Designs, and both classes are currently on sale! First, is the Colored Pencil Jumpstart Class which uses the stamps in these bundles Sandy Allnock's Colored Pencil Jumpstart Class - Recommend Stamps & Sandy Allnock's Colored Pencil Jumpstart Class - Recommend & Optional Stamps. The first bundle is only the recommended stamps and the other bundle includes the recommended stamps along with some optional stamps that Sandy uses in the class. The second class is the Mini Watercolor Course: All Season Watercolor Cards. The stamp bundle for this class can be found here. Please note that these bundles are already discounted and excluded from the anniversary sale, but remember the classes themselves are on sale.
My favorite classes of Sandy's are the ones where she creates beautiful backgrounds freehand that she pairs with stamped images. The Mini Watercolor Course: All Season Watercolor Cards is one of them. However, there are oodles more! The design team is often inspired by her cards and enjoy taking her classes. Here are a few cards they have created based cards Sandy has posted or taking one of her classes.
stamps used: Elliot & Marcel - Holiday Shopping
Background: Sandy Allnock's Mini Copic Course: Winter Story Book Scenes
stamps used: Winslow & Rusty - Harvest Friends

there is a colored pencil version too: Mini Colored Pencil Course: Storybook Scenes

Aren't the cards wonderful and the classes have you creating such fun backgrounds! How about pairing up Stacey's Yacula's Sunshine Lake or Happy Trails with Sandy's Mini Copic Course: Island Time or Mini Copic Course: Underwater Scenes (or Mini Colored Pencil Course: Underwater Scenes). Shari Bresciani's A Pirate's Life & Under the Sea stamps would also be a perfect pairing! My other top Sandy class picks are Winter Wonderland, Holiday Backgrounds, Holiday Interiors, Blue Skies, and a whole bunch more using watercolors found here.
What fab cards from your team! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
